Congratulations Kerry on starting this blog and for the invitation. Courtesy of the Family History (State Library of Queensland) my earliest find on Andrew Drysdale is as 2nd Mate on the Convict Transport 'Lord Melville' sailing from Batavia to England 23 Apr 1817.

Me outside the Royal Mail Hotel, Goodna.  Still going strong after 170 years! Andrew Cafe showed me around. It's now a very popular Blues venue.  Worth a visit and a cold beer!

After over 70 years the descendants of brothers William and Stan Drysdale met together at the home of Darryl Drysdale in North Maclean.  It was a wonderful, relaxed day sharing stories, photos and laughter of our shared ancestry!
